Bev has lived in Fenelon Falls since 2010. She worked in the Accounting Department of Household Finance Head Office in Toronto, prior to her marriage in 1975 to Ken and her moving from Scarborough to Etobicoke.

In Etobicoke, she joined George Wimpey Canada. She continued in the Accounts Department until 1997, when she transferred to the Purchasing Department, as assistant to the purchasing manager. Bev retired in 2008.

​

Bev and Ken have two daughters: Barbara---who lives in Mississauga and works in the Operations Department at Pearson Airport, and Meredith, who lives in Whitby and is the office manager of a construction management company in East York.

​

She is a 40+ year member of Bokhara Court No. 22 of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, whose main goal is to raise funds to support the Shriners’ Hospital for Children – Canadian Unit, in Montreal. In 1997, Bev was president of the Great Lakes Unit Meet in Toronto.    

 

Bev tries to "play" the Jumbie Jam (a baby steel drum)…a challenge, because she cannot read music!

 

Every Tuesday afternoon, you will find Bev at the Fenelon Falls Senior Centre enjoying Bid Euchre.
